As one of the most influential female media professionals in the Chinese world, Wu Xiaoli was selected as one of the “50 People You Should Know in China Today” by Asian Newsweek ; one of the “World’s 20 Most Powerful Women of the Century” by Xinhua News Agency’s Globe magazine; and one of the “60 Golden Anchors in 60 Years of Chinese TV” by the Chinese Culture Promotion Society in 2019. She was a host of Xiaoli Watching the World and other brand TV programs. Now she hosts the evening news program Current Events Express , and Mainland Q&A, a TV program that interviews senior leaders of Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. In 2013, she hosted Sally’s Charrette which interviews top business leaders. In 2014, she began to host Observe with Wu Xiaoli - Actors Will Say, which interviews practitioners who exert their power in all industries. In 2015, she hosted A New Era which interviews cutting-age entrepreneurs in technology, Internet, and culture. Wu Xiaoli also served as the promotion ambassador for the “Village Early Education Center” of the China Development Research Foundation, the Guizhou Tourism and Culture Ambassador, the Hebei Tourism Image Ambassador, the Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Women’s Federation, and the Dean of Shenzhen Greater-Bay-Area Women’s Development Innovation Research Institute. She was selected as the “Environment Ambassador”, “Volunteer Ambassador”, “Charity Ambassador”, among others. Wu served as the Chief Planner of the First Dunhuang Night of the Third Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo, and a member of the Industrial Transformation Advisory Board, Institute of Internet Industry, Tsinghua University.
