2014-2016“跨专业综合设计课程研究”获得北京市青年英才项目支持；参与“中国Q项目”（China Cute）和“深呼吸——北京服装学院艺术设计学院跨专业毕业设计整合项目” ，“中国Q项目”作品在米兰设计周的主展场——创意园区Fabbrica del Vapore进行展览。
Professor Chen's “Research on Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Design Curriculum” from 2014 to 2016 was sponsored by Beijing Youth Talents Project. He participated in “China Cute” and “Breathe Deeply - graduation projects of School of Art and Design, BIFT” and his “China Cute” work was exhibited in the creative park Fabbrica del Vapore, the main exhibition venue of Milan Design Week.
As a brand designer and photographer, Chen Dagong offer customized annual communication plans for famous domestic fashion brands such as “HLA”, “King Deer”, “GUOREN”, “LINCChic” and explores new ways of brand communication with photography and visual design. As a researcher of Youth Culture, he founded the “Youth Trend” in 2014, the Youth Culture research institute, and cooperated with the State Information Center and advertising creative agency to complete the “Research on Subculture of China’s Generation Z Youth Group” and “Automobile Consumption Trend of Generation Z”. During the research period of the project, nearly 50,000 samples covering the whole country were quantitatively studied, the fixed sample group was tracked, and the nearly 1,000 Generation Z was interviewed qualitatively.
Chen Dagong has published 2 books which focus on “graphic creativity” and “creative layout design” and the core courses of visual communication and image design. He has also published many academic papers. In 2019, he won the title of outstanding instructor in Beijing in the the National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students, and the courses he taught won the Quality Undergraduate Course in Beijing; in 2013, he won the National Bronze Award of Chinese Design Elites; and in 2008, he won the Communication Award of German Red Dot Design Award.
