The advertising major of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was established in 2002. It has trained 800 outstanding graduates in the last 14 years, who are active in international 4A agencies and excellent local advertising companies. It is committed to brand planning and communication activities for various enterprises in brand building. Students have won hundreds of special awards, gold and silver prizes in competitions such as “National Advertising Art Design Competition For College Students”, “Times Young Creative Awards” and “ONESHOW”. The advertising major closely focuses on social needs and industrial development. It relies on the school's positioning of "clothing guidance, art and technology integration", and cooperates various disciplines of the School of Fashion Communication to explore a talent training mode, taking market and social needs as the guide, and combining theories and practice to cultivate innovative and energetic inter-disciplinary high-level advertising talents with integrated communication and media capabilities, capable to adapt to the trend of globalization, and competent for the development of the international fashion industry. The program currently enrolls 60 literal arts and science students each year.
